Toxicity and efficacy assays on mitochondria from different origins
Mitologics is currently setting up new protocols to purify mitochondria from other healthy and pathological sources.

Protection assays of mitochondria from healthy organs
Mitologics proposes protection assays on liver and heart mitochondria against:
  • calcium-induced damages (Permeability Transition Pore, PTP)
  • potassium-induced damages (MitoK(ATP) channels)
  • apoptotic stress (Bax/Bak pore)
  • oxydative stress
QUALITY INSURANCE
Mitologics is using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the preparation of healthy and tumor mitochondria.
Mitologics can propose:
  • standard studies on their mitochondrial types
  • specific studies using mitochondria from other sources. For each new type a feasibility study will be run first.
